Elders are in fine voice
All the songs in the book have been written and composed by members and staff of the ARRCC Day Centre for Older People which meets at Magdala House in Ferry Road, Rye.
They were helped in their venture by BAFTA Award winning writer Roy Apps and musician and composer Jamie Harris. Songs featured in the Songbook include ‘Biscuit Blues’ (12 bar blues in A), ‘Confusing Cricket’ (Calypso) and ARRCC’s very own version of the local folk song ‘Hopping Down in Kent.’.
